About Our Charity
Disaster Aid Canada provides worldwide aid to people displaced by a disaster. Depending upon the requirements we may fundraise and donate the money to a partner organization on the ground or provide immediate relief with the Disaster Relief Kit. The kit may include a 4 room tent, a tool kit, warmth & comfort products, and a water filtration system that will provide a family of 10, a year's worth of drinkable water. What we send depends on the need of the affected community. We do not send anything that is not needed or if we do not have a partner on the ground who can oversee the distribution and setup. In most cases, the partner will be a Rotary Club in the affected area.
Disaster Aid Canada is governed and administered by Canadian Rotarians. We work in partnership with Disaster Aid International and local and international Rotary Clubs to provide Tents, Water Filtration, and Disaster Relief Kits, to our International Projects.
